Paul and I emailed back and forth many times as he was one of the most popular contributors to concept ships. Though I've never met him, I considered Paul a friend and have much respect for his works and technical skill as well as his humble attitude and dedication to his craft.
It is incredibly difficult and frustrating to see such a bright star leave so soon.
