Conceptships news

Please tell me you've seen THIS. Here is the article.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was... How cool would it be to combine this concept with the Virgin galactic model. Fly the rocket man to the edge of the stratosphere by balloon or other vehicle and then launch the man from there in to space via his rocket wing. Individual manned space launch. Crazy.

Check out my similar looking concept flash loop done for the EON challenge on CGSociety.

In other news... The Phoenix lander touches down on Mars. Yet another lander makes the trip to Mars and lands successfully.

It would be nice to see some different terrain though. I know the window for a safe landing is small but it would be nice to see Olympus Mons or The Valles Marineris in the background there.

Still, an amazing achievement. Landing it with rockets now instead of bouncing it.

I've got some great stuff on the way this week. Stay tuned... Later!
