Vector concept ship with sonic boom mitigator

This is one of my first attempts to draft a concept spaceship design with CorelDRAW. It was made around the end of 2004. I've always liked the long tube at the front of the ship to balance out the design but never thought of any other use besides maybe a gun, light or receiver of some kind and wondered what kind of effect it would have on a high speed traveling vessel.



I recently came across this nasa photograph of a F-15B testbed aircraft with a Gulfstream Quiet Spike sonic boom mitigator attached.



Insane!

Stranded on Phobos

This was one of my first attempts at modeling a spacecraft in a 3D application (Lightwave).

It's supposed to be a crane ship that's been stranded on one of the Mars' moons... Phobos. The middle section is not finished... Maybe I'll finish it one day.

Futuristic plane ship

This is a vector illustration design concept done a while back in CorelDRAW 12. It's a prop plane at earth gravity but has a booster rocket for short distance space travel. It folds when stationary for horizontal space saving.

Spinning concept space shuttle as a 24fps Flash animation

This is a shuttle that I modified into a sort of "realistic" near future concept ship. I purchased the shuttle model right here and then remodeled the back end with some thinner and longer wings. I then added some booster rockets directly to the ship. I also added lens flares in Lightwave to correspond to the angle of the camera. Here is a 24 frame per second turntable animation.
