The tactical bomber gave me shivers, nice ship. With the first ship, do you just scratch out crap, then build a ship from the basic shape?

Yeah, the top ship was kind of a loose mix of collage and silhouette, then I roughed in some surfaces with colour. I knew the engine placement and rough proportions in my head before I started though. Hope that helps!
