Goodbye Mr. Paul Pepera

The art community is in shock and mourning after hearing that our good friend Paul Pepera passed away on March 27th, 2017.

Paul and I emailed back and forth many times as he was one of the most popular contributors to concept ships. Though I've never met him, I considered Paul a friend and have much respect for his works and technical skill as well as his humble attitude and dedication to his craft.
It is incredibly difficult and frustrating to see such a bright star leave so soon.

Our condolences to his family friends and colleagues.

Here are Paul's contributions to our site starting with his earliest submission in August 25th, 2009 to only a few months ago. This is just a small sample of his fantastic renders, you can see the scope of his work on his personal site and on artstation.
Thank you so much Paul Pepera, you will be missed greatly.
