MONTHLY HEADER #60: John C. Berkey

John Berkey is pretty much the reason conceptships exists. I was actually hoping that John would see this site and perhaps leave a comment underneath someone's art. Sadly, John passed away on April 29, 2008. I've always wanted to collaborate on a piece of Mr. Berkey's art so this July header fills the void. The first artist to have two Headers. Thanks John, this blog truly is dedicated to your memory. HD header.

Frank Frazetta concept spaceship art

This being the 500th post here on conceptships, I wanted to do something special and highlight someone amazing. Frank Frazetta passed away recently on May 10th, 2010 and it saddens me that I will never meet the legend that is Frank Frazetta. Whether a fine artist, industrial designer or a computer graphics professional, he has influenced our art and our lives in some way. Thanks Frank, for leaving behind so many inspirational images for us to enjoy forever. You will be missed!
